Parked Back In Paradise...

After several days at Coruche and having heard my air-con unit has arrived at the dealer in Armacão and can be fitted on Friday, I have decided (a few minutes ago) to move on to Pego do Altar now.

I have done the washing up, cleaned the loo and surrounds and, after emptying and filling, I will set off on the 90 km journey.

(Well, that is the current plan...)

Having toured the Algarve it seems they have made the right choice in banning wild camping. Sites of all types are very inexpensive and they do put income into the local economy.

Banned?

What does this actually mean in real life?

If it is "banned" but nobody minds can one still park up?

I am currently parked up for a few days (maybe) and I am not on a "site".

I feel confident no one will give me grief because no one minds me being here.

And with respect... one person's "inexpensive" is another man's "unaffordable".
