Palma Majorca for Xmas

Shouldn't Brits have Christmas Dinner in Spain?
It seemed odd sitting topless outside in the sunshine about 13:00 hrs eating a roast dinner... and they (about six people) were wearing santa hats 🎅

Could sort of understand going out in the evening..

Thanks everyone for all the help and comments, we have decided to go to Tenerife for the sunshine, have booked 10 days over Xmas and New Year in a lovely suite at Hotel Botanico in Puerto de la Cruz, should be a lovely relaxing break.

thanks again
Bill
We had out honeymoon in Puerto de la Cruz just before Christmas. We hired a car and visited Mount Teidi, recommended but I think numbers are restricted now on the summit so you may have to book. We also visited the south of the island where the weather is much better. This was in 1978 and there was none of the development there is now. Happy memories as there are of our visit to La Gomera many years later on a geological holiday. :)

Xmas day here, 90% of folk are dressed up in Xmas gear. It's hilarious.

We join in and even dress the dog up.

There are some stunning places in the Canaries. Have spent Xmas there several times.
Honestly didn’t see any fat bald tattooed men and certainly didn’t see anywhere as grim as Skegness. Try Lajares or Moro Jable on Fuerteventura. The north of Tenerife is also lovely. San Cristobal de la Laguna is a fascinating town if you want life, both day and night, without yobbos.
Maybe you didnt go to los christianos
