I have greyish plastic trim that shold be white on my hymer roof rail feet and on the side of ladder mountings they are pitted and dirt is ground in
I was going to try silky first, but think they might need replaced or painted
Any advice funsters?

I was told recently that using a hot air gun will restore this to almost new.

I was told - I haven't tried it.

The only product I've ever had success with is with a high end car detailing product, Gtechniq C4 permanent trim restorer; expensive but very, very effective. Good price from here (y)

I took mine off and spray painted them, looked better for 12 months but soon deteriorated again :(

We had the same problem, removed all of ours, rear ladder (2x2) roof bar ends (4x2) rubbed them down a bit (waste of time) then sprayed them with some white plasticote from B&M, super job, probably need doing again at some point, but they look like new now, put them back and put “type wraps” around the middle
