Packed aire

I'm sure your on board toilet and shower are pretty OK?
They are but nowhere near a nice as the ones here. Large, spotlessly clean, virtually brand new and heated. Don’t get me wrong, we use our van facilities most of the time as most of the French facilities are just plain disgusting but honestly these are probably better than mine at home.:LOL: Also our water heater only works on gas so despite having hook up here too, saves s little gas. Every little helps :D
Just woken up, late by my standards which also says a lot and about to drive on to Calais. Enjoy your day folks :)

I suppose if you convert it, it’s what? £12
At yesterday's exchange rate of 1.17 Euro, it works out at £15.38.
Not a bad price really for peace, tranquility, exceptionally clean service/facilities, and possibly location too. :) Enjoy @MichelleRyall. (y)

It's a Camperstop though (rather than an Aire), which are basic campsites really. ;)

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Looks lovely - I've bookmarked it in case we ever need something in that area (y) (I like free, but I don't mind paying if its worth it). Looking at they they do rates for 12 or 16 hours too which would be good for a quick stopover on the way to/from the tunnel.

They do. Also Aldi, Lidl and Colruyt just up the road, along with what looks like a type of pound shop and Wilkinson’s. The beach is lovely too.

Does it really matter what it is called? We too stop in all sorts of places, wild camping, rally fields, THSs, CSs, Aires, Stellplatz, Sostas, camperstops and sites. It is not about saving or spending money. It is about enjoying ourselves in or near places we like the look and/or feel of.

So now we know why it is surrounded by hedges and fences - to blot out the sight of the huge expanse of statics!

Haha true but only 2 were occupied yesterday. When we walked to the beach. It would be very different in the peak season I guess. According to forums this aire is very busy at other times. Just stopped at Bray Dunes aire for lunch. Free, very basic but may use it next trip when I can use my van shower more easily.

I would no more pay €18 to park for a night than I would support Man U*d or Liverp**l...

Come on you tight git, you wouldn't even pay €18 to park on City's pitch with the team and cheerleaders waiting on you hand and foot.

Oh dear, oh dear.

I suppose if you convert it, it’s what? £12. The average price for a site here I think,, with all if not better facilities! I’d pay it, gladly, but I like the luxury of all the stuff !! Enjoy babe,,, have three showers! Lol x

Can you tell me where you buy your Euro's as that is a great exchange rate €18 = £12...... I make £15.60

Looked it up and it looks like a campsite to me hence the 18euros a night but not bad though.
