Overnight Parking in Exmouth

There is some dedicated overnight parking in Exmouth for motorhomes in the Maer Road Car Park just behind the sea front which cost £11 a night with no facilities. We live in Exmouth and the seafront is very popular with motorhomes mostly day parking. There has been a public consultation and the results have just been published:

"Overnight motorhome stopovers - you said, East Devon District Council delivers​

Following consultation feedback from more than 1,000 respondents, improvements to overnight parking arrangements for motorhomes in two Exmouth car parks have been agreed by East Devon District Council’s Cabinet committee".

With water and waste facilities yes, but it's still a car park.

Yes imo it is a good location,a nice walk along the seafront to the town. We have stayed there a couple of times and really enjoyed it.
Well done to the forward thinking council if this gets done

£20 just for the night and it looks like they want another £8 for the day, way too much. That's camp site prices.

Exeter Racecourse is only up the road, nice campsite with all facilities and plenty of space to walk the dogs.

It is a shame they are looking at £20, I think this is too high. £15 to me would be more reasonable. Although after looking at exploring durdle door and Lulworth cove it is good value

I am presuming that the fee does include 24 hours of parking like the current £11 does!
