Now we have a small "outhouse" no garage but space underneath to carry such items.
I remember someone having done exactly the same and some nice ideas, photos, however , i have played about searching and got nowhere fast.
Any ideas out there?

Can’t you just do them through the skylight? Seems a lot of extra weight to make a bit more electric.
Can't do that on a Hymer, skylight fully open only about a 4" gap all round.

climbing up. see #22
edit missed #31
he also has a tilting panel that pherhaps , a ladder makes life easier
Yes originally I used to go up and tilt the panel but this year we were facing the opposite direction. I'm going to fit removable pin hinges on each side so it can be tilted either way 👌😇

Wouldn't slot through the gap so you can reach the nearest panel?

I don't have 2" thin arms, what about the other two. Easier to carry a ladder.

You don't need to get your arms out with a long flat brush, the one I posted is just an example of what's available, as for the others, stick your arm out of the central rooflight between them ... mind you, would your table support your weight?

will be interested in seeing finished article. This is my version using the hinges you suggested and some hydraulic struts lying around.

When we had our PVC, we were stuck for storing the long poles for our Fiamma safari room, so I bolted a couple of lengths of black 4" underground soil pipe and capping's under our van across ways.
One stored the Fiamma poles and the other stored litre bottles of spare fluids, like engine oil, anti-freeze, loo fluid and the like.

Did the same sort of thing for the litre bottles on the bike rack of our present van until I found a new home for the bottles on the rack under the van.

I like this. We've not got a garage, so the side poles for our Lillypad Windblocker poles are stored inside. I've 3d printed a nice holder for them and they are secure out of the way. But the springs inside the poles rattle like crazy on the move!
