Well, to be fair, you asked for assistance, have been offered loads, and haven’t actually taken anyone up on their kind offers!

I only looked in to see if I could assist as I know some folk who are there.

……….and don’t even get me started on why you crossed the water without enough gas for your trip ( not topping up before leaving) and having no adapters in the first place

You’ll find the folks on the forum very helpfull, to a point

Not really, you were asking for help people gave all suggestions then a kind offer from someone who’s about 10 min drive away and you declined!!

99% of the time people on this chat site are pleasant and helpful. But then you get the 1%.
I got what I felt was a very unpleasant and sarcastic response to an innocent question/discussion on this gas blog last week.
I really don't understand why such people just don't say anything rather than make, albeit mild negative comments.

Yes, I was tempted to retort to that poster , but thought why the hell should I explain my situation, at that time, to him/her.
Undoubtedly there are many many on this site who are reticent to create threads and post because of such possible comments, and aggravation.
As my partner said at the time ..... I thought it was supposed to be Motorhome FUN !
I will think twice before putting up a thread in the future.
It’s a shame.

After a week driving down to Brittany we ran out of gas .....
Realised we need an adapter over here
In the last 36 hours we’ve tried 7 garages and numerous adapters which have not yet fitted.
We are now in Belz - anyone nearby by chance Who can assist ?
A long shot I know !

A call for help which was responded to, with one particular fellow Funster willing to go out of his way to assist..................but his offer was declined.

It is, for those wishing to engage, and it's an extremely helpful source with others taking the time to assist via advice, or by personal interaction. I'm sorry you don't see things that way.

Can you put up a picture of your fill point ,with the cap off and then someone can advise which adapter you need,
