Our Hobbies

Kent - where 6 handed Euchre started. Much prefer normal 4-handed :)

You have 2 partners. Still 5 cards each, but pack goes down to 7's. Scoring is as per standard game. Needless to say, a "loner" is a lot harder!

Sounds too complicated for us Kentish boys

Family history - business more than pleasure these days though.
Going away in the van - which is why the business is a lot smaller than it might be
English Civil War Re-enactment - joined Jill in that after we got the van - I don't do tents
Reading - got into it again in the last year or two because there is so much less worth watching on telly.

Hobbies

I also make Model Aircraft and Boats. I take small old design Free Flight converted to Electric propulsion and Radio away in the van and when possible a boat.
Prior to aquiring the van our other main pastime was Touring on a Motorcycle, unfortunateley my wife can no longer cope with long distance motorcyling but we do carry a small one in the van.
I have an interest in all things Engineering and Aircraft in particular.
We both read a lot with Vals hobbies being History and Literature.

But they include.

Well where do I start

Aquacise and swim 3 times a week, Stretch and Pilates, Love Yoga and Meditation.
Anything to do with the Mind, Body and Soul really.
Motorbiking, (as a pillion but that may change soon)
Countryside.
Planning holidays ( I should be a specialist travel agent really) This takes a lot of my time up.
Fishing on Holiday
Light short ride on my cycle.
Reading.
Quiz competition, specially MHFun ones.
people observing, would love to be in Big Brother but would soon be booted out, or throw the towel in.
Camping and now motorhoming have a whale of a time.
Music listening to it, dreadful at making it or singing it.

Challenges this year, to take up Canoeing and try to learn motorcycling. loose weight and get fit, and travel as much as possible and be happy.

There are a lot more but need more cash to be able to realise them.

Regards Pat
