Our Christmas trip

Arrived near to Benidorm but fund a nice quiet car park for the night hopefully ther will be a cancellation at one of the many sites we have tried but there a bar just a short walk from where we are and laundry so at lest we will have clean knickers :xrofl: :xrofl:

Siting today next to the beach myself and the wife.
Beer in hand we’re talking to the sone and the grand children on a video call there all wrapped up in winter clothes.
It’s about 4deg looks freezing cold overcast and miserable.
Were in t shirt and sorts in a nice sunny spot
Next to the van.
After we got talking do we need to go back in January she look at me I looked at her and together we both looked at each other and the general consensus was let’s stay her till February at lest
So the Christmas trip is becoming f.:;())k let’s stay here

Well we’re back in the airs in torraviga few brits turned up in the last few hours
Sun is out and Farley nice in the sun

Yes all the sites were full but we’re still going to met up with family then we’re heading south stiil thinking about Morocco the wife thinks we will get our head cut off don’t feel safe about going there trying to tell her Tunisia is more of a risk than Morocco but she’s not having it so looks like wee will end up as far as Gibraltar

Sorry to hear that Bill. There are a few funsters in Beni if you need any help. And more arriving in the next week or so.
Did your cousin live in Beni or just on a holiday?

and thinking practically, I imagine there will be a lot to sort out..

There son will be arriving today he got a flight so on the way.
Should be with his mother at 1400
In my experience repatriation can take a bit of sorting out
When my friend died out her a few years ago it was two weeks to get him back it was over a month for the funeral.

It been a difficult few days but his wife will be home tonight.
A funeral director in the uk will now take over for a repatriation to take place.
We are now going to continue our holiday as the son is now in full control of the situation.
Devastated for them.
But they have had fantastic help from the consular services and ther insurance company
Surprised how helpful they have been I done all I could and they were grateful for my help
But my work is done here.
We have driven back to torravica and moving south some time in the morning.
Or during the day.
To continue our holiday

Today started well then the van blew a hose maneg to get it back together with a bit of pipe a internal sleeve and tiger seal.
Then breaded pip over the rubber hose with tigers seal bonding it all together.
Finished off with black tape just wating for it to go off a bit.
On tick over seems to be holding out in the middle of nowhere ear to Múrcia.
Went to a beakers yard hoping to get a bit of hose thay wouldn’t even entertain me.
So very disappointed in the Spanish attitude

I think it sorted for now going to try find a motor factor tomorrow but to be honest I think she will hold till home bit of a belt and braces repair

I've hose & clamps of various sizes here if you have an idea of size & am not far away.

I have hose clamps never levee home without them
Thanks very much gus but we’re sorted now going to bimile down the coast now
Whare we stop nobody knows hopefully the wether will hold lovely day today
