I think I might have known her.Used to date a girl back in the day, who was a kennel maid at a breeders, ........... and many fond memories of gob, slobber, black hairs and daft moments
I'm told that in Eastbourne one often sees dogs wheeling their owners around .I live in Dawlish in Devon now. There are a lot of holiday parks around here and it gets busy in the season. You see quite a few of these pet strollers/buggies here as it is such a popular place for folks with dogs. When it is very hot they are a boon to stop their paws getting burnt although people mainly use them for their elderly dogs.
Had never heard them called that till First grandchild was on her way, john had to explain, it sounded like some medical appliance to meYou were posh then ... we had a tan-sad!
Tan-Sad began life in 1922 in Birmingham and was first publicly listed as an exhibitor at the British Industries Fair, selling typists tables, constructional toys, motor cycle chairs, perambulators and office and factory chairs. Tan-Sad Continued to grow over the coming years and essentially split its Birmingham production between push chairs and toys, and a very successful range of factory and office seating.Had never heard them called that till First grandchild was on her way, john had to explain, it sounded like some medical appliance to me
Must be a Hull thing
I live in Bridlington on the East Coast and lots of people use them here for our older dogs. It gets them out in the fresh air when they can’t walk far and keeps them in company rather than leaving them at home. Doggy pushchairs are available from Amazon and eBay!Please help me understand. Currently in Spain. Have noticed several people pushing dogs in prams, carrying them in bags or in their arms. At home most dogs walk. Why is it different here? Am I missing something?
Our 12 year old lab, who has severe arthritis in one front leg, has been on Librella since it was released. She has monthly injections and it has given her a new lease of life. She starts to limp more a couple of days before her jab then the day after she’s full of life again. She’s just had her “March” jab from a vet in Marbella. My dog had this a week ago and it got rid of a new limp on her bad leg. Our French vet has offered this on a monthly basis if she needs it more regularly in the future. It doesn't have any adverse effects that previous treatments have, which is great news!
WE have also found them great when in busy town centres, it must be terrifying for a poor dog, down there amongst legs & feet and no one looks down do they !!I live in Dawlish in Devon now. When we lived in Devon our village butcher used to take his out in an open car trailer to somewhere safe to walk.Just wish I could find one big enough for our newfoundland, we do everything else for her, might as well push her majesty around to.
Sorry to hear that & may he R.I.P.Our little Jack Russell was 21 years old, he walked wee distances but when on our trips abroad he loved the bicycle, sadly we lost him 2 weeks ago he would of been 22 in July View attachment 595325View attachment 595326View attachment 595328
I would say it's the heat on the dogs paws ,little doggy pushchair saves your back and doggys paws. Please help me understand. Currently in Spain. In a Perambulator the infant lies prone, usually face up so it is comforted by it's adoring mother's gaze.Is a Perambulator the big one?
