Thought it was a result finding Duval in France , have had some nice Pilsner in Germany and the Croatian stuff wasn’t to bad.

Crap beer, however, just had a steak that was spot on. Didn't take a picture as i didn't want to embarrass you ;) :LOL:

I just don't understand why people can't get good steak in France , meat is meat and they have some of the best breeds in Europe, how can it be wrong.
 
I picked up a virus whilst travelling home one year which left me quite ill, my wife was frightened with my symptoms. In consultation with the Doctor we worked out I probably caught it from eating something in France at St Emillion.

The only thing I ate and she did not was a steak & the doctor put it down to that. ☹️ Thankfully after about 6/7 weeks I made a full recovery but was very tired for a long time after then, I don’t think I’ve had a steak in a France ever since then.

Upto to yesterday going great. Then told we had bizz meets in Calpe and El Campello so bit frantic.
At Carcasonne now........well a good few Ks out in a Freanch Passion site. A winery place. We are the only MHers here. So quiet and peaceful after a 840++ Ks drive.
 
We were once stranded in a place in Germany, only having to wait till the Monday to have some glass fitted, we went out to find a restaurant , couldn't see one anywhere, but walking down a street came on a place that just looked like someone's house but could hear something going on and smell steak .
Well we went in the door and it was a big room with tables set out in rows and folks sitting about so asked if it was a restaurant , don't know if they knew what we said but anyway we were shown to some seats in the row , and we were brought some steak like that without asking and it was brilliant and very cheap when we went pay.
Never did find out if we were supposed to be there or not or whether it was some sort of club or something but it certainly was good.

I don’t know the answer to that but the doctor said I’d picked up a virus and did tests for all the serious ones, with negative results, but he said it was probably something I had eaten.

I thought COVID was originally thought to come from infected animals that had been sold and eaten at that Wuhan market.
