I've heard a rumour about a guy called "Old Mo", worth a follow up.......... :Rofl1:

I did get one from her Maj...:thumb:

But she forgot to put a stamp on it so I told the postman to take it back...

She got a few bob more than me...

Oldies

I got my 1st Pension payment today, hurray, checked online banking at 7am, then noticed ASDA put shopping payment through twice!
To be fair, I rang and within 10 minutes they rang back to say a refund had been made.

Remember that those that have the most birthdays live the longest.
Must admit that I do now have more fingers than teeth!!

How strange that this post was dug out ot the woodwork when only on Thursday I was chatting to Paul at Wokingham Motorhomes and remarking on the age of the average motorhome owner.

When you think of the size of these vans and how drivers cope with them and a lot of them are ladies as well, well done you lot, your not old fogies at all.

Theres not many people about that will drive the distances that many Funsters do every year to foreign climes.

Might be snow on the roof but still plenty of fire left in the grate :thumb:

Not reallyl a fair 'Straw Poll' I am now 74 but bought first van when I was 52,
so do we get 'Time Off' for good company. Only one regret wish we had started when I was 22.
Love Roughing it Smoothly.. Best Regards Mac

52 until the end of the month, but definitely grey. Having said that if you had been doing the poll 20 years ago, I'd have still have been grey, we just didn't have the motorhome to go with my hair!

Tempus Fugit !!!

Wow, a rave from the grave ! Since then many have joined the forum and a few have left ! :cry:so perhaps Jim ought to resurrect the post to see how we step up to the line now !

You people enjoy the status. By the time, in 15 years I get to pension age the pot will be empty so I will just be grey and potless!

Since I look 70 and I am already grey I wonder if I could sneak in now :Eeek:

A life of dreams of that wonderful life post 65 is a pipe dream. We all know that most silver surfers are miserable old buggers rich or poor. Better to treat 65 as the end point not the beginning and get on with life while you still have that desire to enjoy it.

All the motorhomers I know are old and grey.
Except those with no hair, there just old:Wink:
Geo

I'm Sure Pammy Will thank you for that:Wink:
