Oh Dear... Done It Again...

They wind themselves up automatically (so don't need to go online to be wound up) and they don't need batteries..
WIND THEMSELVES UP . ... how quaint.
Mines solar JJ... Doesn't need ANY winding up and has a capacitor not a battery.
Oh, and it uses the international time signal (atomic clock) so is accurate to 1 second in millions of years.

Watches are so yesterday...............;):)

I also have one of these for every day use. On our annual cruise to the Caribbean with a time zone change nearly every day I use a conventional watch as its much easier to adjust. I have several, mostly self winders as only using once a year the battery is likely to be flat.

For every day use I wear the watch my mum gave me on my 16th birthday. 50 years later it still works, and is accurate enough. It has great sentimental value because she passed away when I was young.

I also have a cheap Swatch for travel and keep fit sweaty stuff.

Tica tica Timex £19.99 at Argos had it for 6 years, had to renew the battery once, when it knackers out I'll skip it and get another of the same.
It's a Watch , it tells the time, tiz stainless steel, push a tit at night and it lights up for me to see the time.
Just in case you missed it, it cost me 6 years ago £19.99.
SO? what does your watch do that mine doesn't?

My watch doesnt take a battery so its better than yours!
