Oh Ann, you won't need luck - you'll have a brilliant time. Will you be meeting up with Marie and Rex @PenelopePitstop in Zahora?
Certainly will, and lots of other lovely Funsters too if last year is anything to go by. I'm only asking for luck because we have just got the motorhome back from the garage and are hoping that they found and fixed the fault.

Morning

Sandwich is a lovely Medieval town with lots of nice eating places. MHs stop in the car park at The Quay on the riverside or in the rear car park behind the Guildhall (not official but seems to be accepted). One night would do it as Sandwich isn't very big. If you like castles there's Deal, Walmer & Dover all English Heritage if you're a member.

Try Dover Castle, Roman Lighthouse to WW2 hospital and command centre for Dunkirk evacuation.

If you want to see lots of bones see if you can get a viewing of the crypt at St Leonards Church in Hythe, link http://www.stleonardschurchhythekent.org/thecrypt.html

The plot to murder Thomas a Becket was hatched at nearby Saltwood Castle, home of the deceased legendary Conservative MP Sir Alan Clark, link Link Removed

Have to agree about the Pilot Inn, good fish and chips and some history, link http://thepilotdungeness.co.uk/

Lots to see in Kent, enjoy your tour.
