Did the National Trust ever decide to let motorhomes and campers stop overnight?

We used to hold rallies on that field at Kingston Lacy for many years without issues. Our members even volunteered and worked in the winter for them clearing brambles, dredging ponds etc. Then new management policies came in and our members needed their own insurance to volunteer for such work. Volunteering stopped and we could no longer book the field or rallies. So they lost the income and had to pay groundskeepers for the manual work. But that is progress
