Looking forward to seeing you all at Ambleside.

Had a reply from Graeme -

I will be on site on Friday and for most of the day Saturday, however, it is my parents Golden Wedding anniversary so I'll be in Scotland for Saturday night, Sunday night and back on site mid-day ish on the Monday. Having said that you're all big enough and ugly enough to look after yourselves I'm sure!!

Correct me if I'm wrong but I make that a total of 35 nights between the 10 vans; it would really make my life a lot easier if I could request that you collect the fees (£6.00/night/van) from your members and just hand me a bulging envelope when I see you again on the Monday. Please be aware that the information provided by you is NOT binding and if any members wish to extend (or curtail) their stay for any reason then that will be no problem at all.

I am presuming that you would wish all your members to be parked up next to each other as opposed to being dotted all over the place; do you want me to 'block off' an area exclusively for you, and if so would you prefer hardstanding or grass pitches (or a mix of both)? Alternatively this can be organised when you arrive on the Friday.

Any thoughts on the Grass Vs Hard Standing Pitches ?

I have PM'd all concerned with the combination for ther gate lock.
Please ensure that you memorise the code & then eat the message :Rofl1:

Eating laptops gives me indigestion, OK if I throw it in the stream? :Rofl1::Rofl1::Rofl1:

Hi

Just to cheer you all up just watched border news and looks like flip flops will be needed more than wellies:Rofl1: . Weather forecast looks really good for the weekend think i'll have to call in a sickie

Gerry

Dick.

Just had a call from a friend they are calling to see us Friday/Saturday so, we won't be there until Saturday pm

Local news (Border TV) says a good weekend coming up. :thumb::thumb:

I have just had a mail from Graeme at Ambleside.
Will all campers please note he has set aside the hard standings, but anyone wishing to go onto the grass is welcome, but it may mean that the meet becomes a bit fragmented

"Good morning Dick

In preparation for the forthcoming rally; I have 'cordoned' off the 10 hardstanding pitches closest to the football club building for your exclusive use, however, on your arrival if you decide you would prefer to be on the grass pitches that is entirely up to you, however, there may already be vans on-site that prevent all of your party being able to park adjacent to each other.
Looking forward to seeing you all on Friday.

Regards Graeme"
