Normandy scallop festivals November/December

Whenever I've been in Normandy in the summer scallops have been out of season but I really fancy having a few seafood indulgent days. Haven't decided yet whether to take the m/h and stay on one of the Dieppe aires or wimp out for a bit more warmth and go with the car and hotels. Is anyone else planning to go?

Festivals/scallop season details here but I'm tempted to go between the festivals as at festival times the restos will possibly be rammed and the prices at 'Festival tourist' level.

Season started on the 2nd October. Dieppe was the place to be. We had our fill in one of our favourite restaurants Le Turbot Dieppe just over the footbridge from the Aire. Recommended.

Indeed so. Dieppe has another in November. The town has been my second home for about 40 years and it's only a 20 miles drive from my house.
