Normandy here we come

Don't think anyone yet has mentioned the amazing miniature railway at Clecy. Great way of spending an hour or so. We spent 10 days in Normandy in May and loved the little villages. Have fun.

Have a great time but take plenty of layers. Several years ago we get off the Caen ferry on a foggy January morning and it was -12°, didn't fancy wilding it in those temperatures so went to a campsite where all the water was frozen up so for just electricity they charged us half price.

Another recommendation is the Aire at Arromanches. It is situated on the cliffs to the West of the Town and has a commanding view of what is left of the Mulberry harbour.
