Non-expiring Vodafone dongle on eBay

Just plug your phone into your lap top connect through that,if you pay for internet with your provider its totally free ,used mine for years. Alan
The only thing I can see with that Alan is that your phone is out of action when you are using it to surf and I am on the net quite a bit so wouldnt be able to use my phone!!
But I have done that in the past when the dongle is out of signal I do it with a sim card that is in signal we carry about 5 different sims for that purpose as we dont know where we are going to be from one month to the next and we all know what mobile phone signals are like.
I have a contract with "3" which gives good signal nearly everywhere.

FAQ from Vodafone Here.
Does the TopUp and Go Mobile Broadband USB Sticks (K3565R and K3565) support Windows 7 or Apple MAC?

The K3565R supports both Mac 10.6 and Windows 7.
The K3565 USB stick does not.

Further information for the K3565 on Windows 7 Here. It would appear that it doesn't come with the driver (not surprising as it pre-dates the OS) but that it is possible to upgrade.

Mine came today, installed on windows 7 out of the box, got a connection straight away but it is very slow because of my location, but its working well. Nice one to keep in the van as a spare when my 3 dongle is missing or has a poor sig:thumb:

Got mine today as well. I phoned Vodaphone to confirm pricing plan, as the website was a bit confusing and I was concerned that I would have to top up every 30 days even though it has no expiry.

Anyway, they confirmed that as long as I use it at least once every 180 days then it will not expire. Not easy to get through to someone though.

I was told that the plan is recognised by the phone number used.

Looks like a useful bit of kit. Thanks for the tip Graham.:thumb:

Mine arrived today too. I've put it away and will plug in for first usage after May.

Well, there were ten left when I first looked and if, as Graham says, they're all gone it looks as if Argos owe the the Funsters a big thank you!

They are good - just plugged mine in. I paid £7.50 for it over a year ago, it had £15 credit and it's still got £13 left.

Bought mine last April (SIM only to use in a dongle I already had) for £7.49. It had £15 of credit when it arrived and had £15.72 when I checked it last weekend. For some reason they gave me an extra quid when I started using it
