Noisy fan on new Dometic fridge

this is not going as well as I had hoped, been monitoring lower section temperatures, they are not getting much below 8C, not overly serious as most of content is tonic water :)
Hi again David ..just looking in on your progress and thinking what you really need to be doing to check the fans are doing a job is to check the temp at the coolest part of fridge and then in the compartment that the fans are installed in.. ie a temp comparrison rather than a one off temp in that compartment...
Do you know where the fans are circulating air from... ie have you traced the ducting beyond the compartment they serve...
Andy ..

Thanks @andy63

I have 2 x temperature sensors permanently inside the fridge, with wireless link to house , they are part of little weather monitors

The top section is always between 2 and 4C had sensor on both shelves and moved across the width of the fridge

The lower section has no cooling at all other than the blown cold air from the top section

The fans are fitted immediately behind the square holes in above photo, on photo below which shows the back plate laid face down, the channeling can only send the air down to the oval holes which are in the floor of the top section

Then into the lower section through the roof only an inch or so below the floor of the top section

When first fitted I didn’t think the lower section felt cold and did a similar temp check but got 3 and 4C then

The bottles do feel cold to touch and I have the temp sensor resting on top of some beer bottles so pretty much in the middle of the pull out drawer

I am not too troubled by this, I drink my coffee black and the only perishable in this section would be milk  we didn’t have any issues on our last trip with milk going off (y)

Two add on’s to above

My reference to when first fitted referred back to the fridge swap not the fans

Also I have been doing these temp checks with the back plate just pushed into place not secured, I will put the screws in today to be sure we are not losing the cold air through small gaps (y)
