Go on, give us a clue. Which vehicle is it for? Nice to see No 5 has inspected it, he is quite picky.😊😊

Rookie error, peugeot boxer 2016

You’d think number 5 would have labelled it properly

Ducati, boxer etc spare wheel mount and bolts for it. Towing eye and standard double ended screwdriver from many an official tool kit.

The towing eye and Screwdriver are part of the standard Ducato kit. The bolts and ring are used together but not as part of the standard winding mechanism ive got.
edit Looks like i didn't see the answers waiting for tou

The screw driver has a hex end in the handle so you can get at the rear light cluster on panel vans. This assumes that your converter has left a way to get access. Globecar do Hobby don't no idea about other makes.

Hope you have the adapter to wind down the spare wheel also?
BTW the standard wheel brace is made from monkey metal and can bend when loosening the wheel nuts.
Best buy a good socket and long bar.
We had a blowout and even the guy from highway patrol couldn't remove the damaged tyre with the fiat wrench!

Not sure…what would it look like? We have often wondered how you get to it!

If you have alloys and a steel spare then that’s the adaptor plate to mount the alloy into the spare wheel carrier.
hi thanks ,,i have alloys and a steel wheel on the carrier already but still got one of these plates with the van ,,?and the bolts

The winder socket is near the rear wheel, underneath. You need a long (hexagonal?) Tool to go into it and then a winder to fit into it to wind it down. I managed to cobble together something that works using a combination of tools I had in the garage.

I have the round black plate and the screws for my spare as it is an alloy. Not needed to secure the spare if it's a steel.

So you have a spare underneath? If you don't know how to do it and don't have the tools it will be I possibe. Screwing the alloy on is a nightmare as it's all happeunder the van, the side of the wheel you need to bolt the plate and the screws into is on the underneath (on the road side) so difficult to do. I practiced the whole process at home on the drive which was useful as I did have to change a wheel in Germany.

You will also need a 10mm allen key to tighten the 3 socket caps through the alloy wheel to attach the mounting plate, prior to attaching the wheel to the lifting mechanism.

thanks ,,so i dont really need this plate if i am not attaching an alloy to the spare wheel carrier? ,,does anyone know if the bolts that hold the alloys to the hub can be used to attach the steel to the hub ?

If you have alloy wheels all round you may have a steel spare, the disc and bolts are used if you use the steel spare.
The eyelet thing fits onto the front of the unit if you need towing , there is normally a plastic cover on the front of the unit that needs to be removed first
Like most recent cars on the road today
Definitely would keep them

Are they three wheel studs? as there seems to be three correspondingly sized threaded holes in the round disc which makes you think that it’s some sort of adaptor plate for a spare wheel or emergency type spare....just a thought..

The round disc is bolted to the alloy wheel using the 3 socket cap bolt. That then enables the alloy wheel to be stowed where the spare steel was lurking. The centre hole of the Alloy wheel is a larger diameter than a steel wheel hence the need for the adapter plate.
