No gas at hob burners

Hi, Not getting any gas to Thetford hob burners. Both Calor propane 6kg bottles are full and have fitted new pigtail. Looks like the regulator is orginginal fit (bulkhead fixing with in-transit crash sensor) Could the regulator be the issue ?

Have you reset the crash sensor, it does trip going over a bump in the road sometimes

You asked about the hob but are the other gas items working - fridge, water heater,............?

No, I fitted new pigtail in the hope that it would fix the problem, so I guess it's not the pigtail at fault.

Spriddler, Only ever used on-site EHU ! So only used gas for cooker hobs. Have Alde for heating and hot water via electric.

You need to check if gas is getting through to any appliance so unplug and test on gas.

Generally the green reset button works holding in for 10 seconds.

I guess the bottle is turned on.

Regulator gummed up, gentle tap or two with soft mallet may work otherwise replacement is the way to go.

Is that the green button on the pigtails and the regulator as they both need doing

But do they also work on gas? What about your fridge? You need to establish if gas is getting through to any appliance or not as that will indicate where the fault lies.

When this happened to my van it was the regulator. Replaced and all was fine.
