No alarm on a brand new van!?

I see you are in Yorkshire. You should think about getting Out Smart the Thief fitted. They are based around York.
I'm getting it fitted to my new Dethleths end of July.

Tell that to the guys who tried to remove the Vanbitz non starter…sustained attempts and never succeeded - interesting thread about it on here
I won’t discuss how to do it on here but if you understand how these systems disable vehicles it’s not that difficult 👍

Is it Thatcham approved?

But for some reason insurance companies do not, I wonder why?
I didn't mention it to get in a big debate. I only suggested it to the OP as an option. They will check for themselves what insurers accept and which ones don't. Is that okay?

I had a cobra system fitted on my hymer it was thatcham approved and covered all doors and lockers etc . Seemed a decent alarm . People ingnored it just like more expensive ones when i forgot id set it and it went off 😁

You could disable the internal sensors on it too which was handy if leaving dogs in . Still went off if you opened the doors.

Only annoying bit was having to arm and disarm it before the van would start.

OK calm down, I was asking a legitimate question as to why insurers will not accept them as everyone says its a good system, now go lie down in a darkened room and chill.

If they were professional it would have been gone with minimal fuss👍 Sound more like local scroats chancing it fortunately for the owner
