hi has anyone use the ninja wood fire barbee on the hook up, on sites ,,just thought i would take mine next time, but thought ,,it might trip the electric,,?

Thought I might take our Big Green Egg. Except it’s 73kg. Hang on - that’s about the same as Rog weighs, a real hit to the payload. Unless I leave one behind - Big Green Egg or Big Pink Roger? Which would be more useful, I wonder? Hmm….
That's another reason Mr Gina M won't take the Ninja woodfire. I explained it grills, bakes, roasts, dehydrates and is an air fryer but he says no it's too heavy I don't care if it does all the driving as well, it's not coming:giggle:

Most EHU in France is only 6A .. I've came across a few at 10A and the very occasional 16A ..

As it uses 10A even a 10A supply could trip when you also have a fridge and battery charger.. to be safe it would be best used on a 16A EHU

I wouldn't bother lugging it there..
I must be lucky then as ours has not tripped a french bollard this year. We do loads of Castels & Flower sites.

Never used a Castels site, so had a look .. and the ones I checked do have 10A .. but there are only 13 sites ..and didn't check all

Never used Flower sites either.. they list different amperages form None to 16A

Maybe useful info for OP

You're right, they're all 10amp. Castels Le Brevedent has about 3 pitches with 16amp. It's about being sensible and using your loaf. On these sites I always try to balance the energy available. If the Ninja is on outside the only other thing using the hook up is the Fridge, the hot water I'll switch to gas and the hob kettle comes out.

The top field at Rudding Park here in Harrogate is 10amp too, we had the Ninja going there a couple of weeks ago cooking two mini hog roasts to feed 14 of us... you need something to soak up the 140 litres of craft ales brought along!!
