enough to know i shouldnt touch things i know nothing about ....
Groencentrum De Veense Bukker N52.1927 E4.6154

found a lovely park up at a garden centre with boats for hire, basic services toilet shower (extra payment) but they are very clean. 18 Euros plus ehu, so its not the cheapest but its a wonderful setting with goats, sheep, chickens and alpacas in an enclosure. one of the surprising things though is that we havent heard any aircraft flying over, when you consider how close we are to Schipol airport. I'm assuming its not a flight path (unless they rotate them?)

hope the photos from the front windscreen (sorry about the reflections) help, if anyone is looking for somewhere close enough to Hook to stay before or after the ferry, i can highly recommend this place.

If anyone was doing a group tour together it would be a great place for a night or two as you can book a guided boat trip around the area for groups of people, they leave and return from the site itself.

Not sure if the scan code will work like this
Website for the boat tours is www.detulpenroute.nl

I think there are around 30 pitches for motorhomes and campers and you can book prior to arrival. There was a beast of a motorhome here earlier which was probably 10m if not longer, although they had to park away from the pitches, but it shows that longer motorhomes can also use the site.

We're at Hoek now, took us about 50mins at a steady 50mph. We will definitely consider using this for our first and last night when using the Harwich - Hoek crossing.

Do they allow dogs?
I am crossing to Hook in September and was looking for an overnight spot. This looks really good

They do allow dogs, we stayed there in June. My only comment is that there is not anywhere close to walk the dog other than along the road.
