For anyone that still has their Nextbase 312GW - in case you don't know it's worth formatting the Micro SD card for a spring clean (format option on menu clears all data), updating it to the latest firmware R06.9 downloadable here https://nextbase.co.uk/help-and-support/dash-cams/312gw-support/#FirmWare & how to update here
Add Nextbase Cam Viewer app on your phone to easily view & edit your footage without having to remove the micro SD card too:
"The 312GW can share the files on the SD card with a mobile phone or tablet (minimum operating system requires Android 5.1 or above and iOS 10.3 or above) using the Cam Viewer App.The App can be downloaded from the Google Play store (Android) or the Apple App store (iOS).The Wi-Fi mode can be accessed when the camera has stopped recording by pressing the red exclamation mark button when in video mode, button 7 (page 13), for 3 seconds. Then go into the Wi-Fi settings on the mobile device and connect to the Dash Cams Wi-Fi signal. Once connected you can open the Cam Viewer App and begin viewing, downloading and sharing your recorded files."

Doing all this & upgrading from 32GB to 128GB Micro SD we have decided to keep our two 312GW models for the motorhome but upgrade to the 322GW with plug in rear camera on post #4 here https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/foru...s-pieces-bargains-with-discount-codes.309492/ for our car. Going to try to install one of the old dash cams on the rear doors of the motorhome, as well as using the existing one in the front, to make use of it if we can find a suitable 12V supply as think due to the size of vehicle (& having an insulated rear interior panel blocking out the rear windows!) this could be better than adding an attached or even separate rear camera & no more additional cost.
Hope the above helps one or two of you - any questions just ask - I don't have much of a clue about techy things but I can ask Mr Wombles!
