You can pay at the gate on your arrival. You will however be pitched in the General Camping area and not with the Funsters. You are most welcome to walk across to the Funsters area and join in our activities should you wish to.

Apologies if this is a bit off topic but if anyone is planning to go shopping in M&S in Newbury (or elsewhere) I have some 20% discount vouchers that I can bring to the rally that can be used in store multiple times plus an online code

We were intending to arrive Thursday but can't make it until Friday afternoon.

I'm traveling tomorrow in convoy with a newbie, won't be in till 4 or 5 I should imagine.

Am I correct reading that the gates don't shut till 9pm these days, only I remember 4 or 5 years ago turning up just past 6 pm and being turned away, we had to find a local campsite for the night.

Have a few M&S paper in store 20% discount vouchers (expiring end of Monday 23rd) left so feel free to ask us for one if you are at Newbury & can make use of it :)
 
We were supposed to arrive yesterday but due to a few issues with taking delivery of our new van we won't be able to make it now, will head down to the Thetford bash next week and hope to see you all there.

Bach home safely, thanks to the marshals @Brisey and @toledo also to Ray @swanseajack13 for the power to the lighting in the tent.
Ran into a big downpour just after we got on the M4, hope it missed you guys, the ground was already wet enough when we left. :Eeek:
Again we enjoyed your company, see you all again soon.

It has rained on and off all afternoon, when the sun was out it was lovely..

Met a few newbies at Newbury amongst them @Mickx and @daved2524 @XRN and met a few I haven't met before like @Jamwitt and met lots of old friends too many to mention. Had a lovely time and my old mate @swanseajack13 turned up in a gorgeous brand new Dethleffs black edition. So if you live in Swansea and you're wondering why your heating engineer is costing More than he used too, be happy in the knowledge that your money is making an old man very happy.

Finally yet again a huge thanks to Brisley and Pam, Polly and Dave for marshalling and musical entertainment.

Many thanks to all involved. Pity we had to leave early and typically the weather improved.
Still, we bought some cable ties and a brush, what more could we want?
