Still arriving Thursday but later nearer 7 than 3. Subject to my eye being ok. Bashfop. Bashford WX65DWW

Is there a water tap in the Fun area? We are going to have to top up the tank when we arrive as will have been wild camping the night before.
 
Are they running a book on what and how much get nicked from the trade area this year. Wasn’t it a load of generator last year.

Security is a huge a issue at these venues. The gate was manned well this morning, but who knows what it will be like as the show progresses.

Supposed to be a grey day.

No early arrivals yet.

81 vans in yesterday. 10 due in today plus 4 unexpected no shows from yesterday if they arrive a day late.
 
I am piling on the thermals ready for my marshalling shift :(

If anyone arriving today is reading this, can you give me an estimated time of arrival so that I can plan my tea breaks :)
 
Hi Jim I’m sorry it’s a bit late but unfortunately I can’t attend this show due to house moving and hospital so maybe someone else can take my place regards mervyn

Lovely to meet up with so many Funsters again after so long. Great to catch up with old friends and make some new ones too. Many thanks to Jim & Sian and the marshals. (y)
 
Thanks to Robin, Hilary, Janine ,Adam and Laura for all their hard work over the rally, we had a really good time in the quiet area near the Funster's marquee:D

A Big thank you to everyone who helped at Newbury, all those that helped in the tea tent, with the breakfast cooking and serving and Karaoke running

Hi All,
I apologise in advance for the length of time it has taken me to post the below.
At Newbury this year welshcake lady (Jeff and Chris) kindly took some books off my hands and sold them in aid of Prostate Cancer UK.

I have finally received a letter from PCUK accepting the receipt of the £11.50 raised. (The delay was caused by them amalgamating this money with other money raised at a non MHF event.)

I am pleased to be able to produce a copy of the letter.
