Newbie question sorry

Thank you Tonks

I was thinking that I want to do the off-grid stuff right & try not to make too many mistakes with spec. Frozen gas tank sounds fun. what sort of temps is that a risk? I am hoping to use the van in Scotland 4 seasons.

Tables, ther Rebel has U shape or bench options. I'm not entirely sure how this affects things, but I understand that with U shape, you cannot use the larger table, whereas the bench version you can use any of 3 tables - which would be excellent.

Wifi/4G regarding uploading for clients (I use WeTransfer), do you use anything extra to assit coverage? RP offer a Maxview system.

Thinking carefully about water storage, would the water containers just as much space as a larger water tank?

Interestingly, RP are working on a pump & filter system to pull water from the grey tank & use it to flush the toilet.

If you are able, it would be great to see a plan layout of your van with an idea where you put everything. My camera kit, can really just fit in a Thinktank backpack, but the drone is in a number of cases. My aim is to use the storage above the cab for the 2x Duvalays & pillows, plus the main drone box. (the drone is mostly carbon fibre, so not too heavy).

Sorry for the very late response!
In terms of freezing gas, it has only happened to me once in 7+ years of year round camping. I was in Lincolnshire at the time, where the freezing wind has nothing to stop it in it's progress!
Ref internet connection, I also use WeTransfer as well as Dropbox, and I sometimes tether my laptop to my phone's hotspot. Otherwise I wait until I'm on a secure network. I don't have 'on board wifi' but it's something I'm strongly considering for my next van. If I was speccing right now, I'd add it.
Water containers would take up quite a bit of space, but their advantage is that you don't need to take lots of supplementary ones unless you know you're really going to need them! I have 2x 10l containers which spend more time at home than in my van as the majority of the time I cope fine with my on board tank, and the 5l additional container.
I don't have a layout diagram to hand, but my camera kit fits in a small narrow Thinktank roller case or a Lowepro backpack, whichever is easiest for the particular job/assignment. They fit under the rear seat/bed. In fact the Lowepro bag always goes under there, as it fits even with my soft sided clothes bag, but the case is a bit bulkier. If I'm taking lighting kit (LED panels) that stuff fits in a second Thinktank case. When parked up, both Thinktank cases fit between the front seats, out of the way. I like Thinktank bags as they're generally unobtrusive and don't shout 'camera equipment'. I don't yet have a drone though I keep eyeing up the Mavic 2 Pro. Just not sure it'll earn back the investment with most of what I do, and I've just switched to mirrorless which wasn't a cheap exercise!
My bed becomes my seat in the day, with a 'parcel shelf' section on which my bedding sits, folded in three. When I pull down the bed at night, a good tug on the right fold on the bedding brings the lot down across the bed in one pull. :)
I've had my van years now, so I'm pretty set in how I store stuff and it works for me. Even in my small VW there's enough room to keep stuff organised and out of the way. But I'm envious of the table set up of the Rebel, whichever option you go for!
