You are just up the road from me Bill...

I am hoping to have enough money by tomorrow to get to the Newark show.

Just had to replace all the rear suspension on my van on Tuesday so finances a little tight.

If so will see you all tomorrow :thumb::BigGrin:

Weren't you the lucky one managing to get booked in at Teversal :thumb: have you noticed all these Murvi PVCs turning up for their club AGM! (Saturday evening). Must be at least 30 now.

Make sure you get to the shower block early tomorrow, or use your own facilities.

And to cap it all, it's persisting down!!!

Setting off in a few minutes. See you all there.

Is it destined to rain at the show thinking about driving down on Saturday or Sunday from the North East?

Just waiting on the last few Ralliers to come in, we have about 60 vans here already Tonight the organisers have given Funsters exclusive use of the warm Pig And Whistle pub, quite a few are already in there chatting away over beer and boxes of wine. Just opened a beer and I'm looking forward to going over and joining them :thumb:

Morning all.

A good night was had by all in the Pig & Whistle. A very welcome socialising venue for us Funsters, keeping us nice and warm from the elements. Thanks to Event Developments for that. :thumb:

The sky is blue and the sun is up, and apart from the odd shower forecast for later, it's looking good for today. :thumb:

Cheers for now,

Jock.

A lovely morning in Newark

All you Funsters at the Newark meet please have a great time...

Could one or two of you have a bit of extra Fun for me...

I'm just going into the Studio video editing suite... a dark, sinister room crammed full of monitors and bloody Apple equipment...

Thank goodness I only do subtitles.

Well, we made it, got here yesterday afternoon after spending a few hours in Lincoln en-route. Managed to get our 'new' awning up on the side of the van (a large caravan porch awning) and I'm glad we did as it is VERY windy here so when we're putting the dog leads on for their walks and drying them off when we get back it means we don't get blown away with the towel acting as a sail! Today started off lovely and sunny but still breezy, we to the free bus into Newark and hit the charity shops (and so did a lot of other ralliers!) and eventually got back ... someone seriously needs to think about the bus provision ... a single coach doing runs back and forth ... no where near big enough! Poor chap hadn't stopped when we caught it back at around 12.45! Had a nice potter round the outside stalls but then we had some rain so took shelter in the hall and mooched round the ones there ... along with just about all the other ralliers too!!!!

It got quite overcast late afternoon and is now very cold, we had some rain and it is still very windy. Hopefully tomorrow will be better although we understand that overnight tomorrow it will be minus 2 !!!! :Eeek: We were planning on staying over until Monday but hubby's having second thoughts!

setting off early tomorrow to visit the show. Two questions 1 is there plenty to see there including accessories? 2 will it be dry?
In fact 3 questions. Can I visit the pig and whistle as I am a funster albeit a new one, my sticker arrived today!

Enjoy tonight and safe travels home to you all :thumb:
