It seems wrong that I may block someone out that really is dying to come.

I would only be in my caravan so maybe I could be squeezed in at the last minute if things are better but facing my operation on Wednesday and few other things worrying me at the moment.

John please don't! - there is so not a waiting list!!! :Angry: - only us as far as I know and we should have jolly well piped up sooner - like you did. (serves us right for not deciding quicker!)

We categorically do not want anyone to give up their own space for us. Personally I'd feel so guilty I wouldn't be able to enjoy myself anyway. OK if circumstances prevent someone going then that's a shame, but OK - but no way do we want volunteers.

If you are feeling down and crabby, then you need a few days in the company of friends a lot more than we do, flower!

we were really looking forward to it but circumstances had forced us to cancel a while ago.

we were bringing the lit'luns and leaving the big 'uns (dogs) at home , 4 dogs with us = stressed new year for us and them, and no amount of begging, threatening and crossing palms with silver can get us a dog sitter for a few days over new year.:cry:

Shame you can't make it John.,...Don't worry, those student riots were nothing more than practice for Jim's big bash. Ive advertised it on Facebook as a flash meet/party so should be loads of gatecrashing students. So all in all shoud be a good do. :thumb:

Well it all looks like it's in the hands of the Snow God's,

Jan and I are crazzy enough to still say....... we will make it! If we do get stuck we will have everything we need with us, we will just end up having a party with Strangers.

We are fingers crossed! We have been looking forward to this meet so much as we have been grounded for the last 2 months. Jan's mum has had a hart valve replaced and so needed us around. she's really on the mend now so we can relax a bit and become Gyppo's again!!!!!!!!:thumb:

Sadly due to the weather, we have to bow out from this meet.
As many of you know and Cheynne has experienced. we live up a mountain in North Wales. For the last week we have been snowed and iced up with about five inches of snow and access up and down to the A5 in our Cherokee has been treacherous but just about doable with great care.

This changed with last night's huge snow dump and access is really now for emergency only and very scary as we found out when we went to pick up the turkey today. We won't be going down again as in the 4x4 we skidded all over the way.

A major casualty has been access to the van which is stored down on a rural farm access by single track.We are not sure what access, battery status and clearance effort is needed to get ready for the trip.

Last night's snow dump was the final blow as we cannot safely go up and down our track.
Sadly therefore we have to cancel.

We are GUTTED as we were really looking forward going for lots of laughs with the funsters. I am stressed about the decision, but family illness means we cannot afford to get stuck or have an accident coming down the mountain.

This is a huge blow after the fun we had at Wrenbury last year which was a blast!

We wanted to let Jim know as soon as possible as we know there is a waiting list.

We're sure it will be a great success and we hope you all have a lovely time.

We wish you and all the Funsters Nadolig Llawen and a Happy Hogmannay.

I am still in my surgical boot with stitches and at present no idea when they are coming out, 30th at the earliest possibly.

Bearing this in mind will stay at home, not an easy decision though.

I am just being sensible for once.
 
Cancelled sadly for personal reasons on Jim's behalf.

I have been asked by Jim to notify all going which I have done now hopefully by PM and at present think it's best not to bother him as he is very concerned about a family member.

OK guys I cant go but if any of you want to arrange something else last minute go for it.

How about if Wales try Dylan site? Cwmcuttan CS?
