NEW YEAR --AT THE RACES PART DEUX -The return to hectors House

Hi All,

Just wanted to say thanks to Paul and Nikki for putting on a great meet.

Thanks also to the band for the entertainment despite Pauls' best efforts. His singing does not have the X factor.

More like the A factor - Awful, Abysmal, Appalling :Rofl1::Rofl1::Rofl1:

but certainly the F factor - Fun, Fun, Fun.:thumb::thumb::thumb:

What a fantastic meet!

Thanks to Paul and Nicky for organising it and to Barry, Janine and the band for entertaining us!

As newbies we were made to feel welcome and thoroughly enjoyed it!

Charlie had a fab time too and would like to say a big thanks to everyone who was so kind to him especially for everything he was given last night! He is working on another hit ready for the next Funster X factor !!

Nikki and I would like to thank you all so much for coming and seeing the new year in with us....

There was a really great atmosphere and we had a great time....which is why we go and do these things...

What was great was in true Funster fashion the food was awesome and the hall cleaning fairies turned up and cleaned it all this morning whilst I nursed a sick lady back to health....

Great to see some new funsters and some new to haganaps meet funsters,,,
Especially when you see them cleaning the hall in the morning too...:thumb:

So many thanks to Janine and Barry and everyone else that came and enjoyed themselves or helped out in some way no matter how small.....


Not sure what's on the cards for next years New Years, but we do have some things up our sleeve :Wink:

From Margaret, myself and Charlie the cairn, a big thank you to both of you for enabling us to have a great time, loved the evening sessions, (sorry not late birds as you will have guessed). The race day was great fun, and the evening even better. Thanks to you and to everyone else who was there.

Thank you everyone for making us feel so welcome.

Hi,
Just got back, decided as we were the only ones left for the extra night we left and got home a day earlier than planned.
Still it was a good meet with the normal fun and frolics associated with a "Haggers " do and we would both like to thank Paul & Nikki, Janine & Barry and the rest of the band who gave us all one of the best meetings we have been to. A special thanks to all those who helped behind the scenes as well.
We even won on the raceway as well just to top it all off.
So a big thank you and we wish everyone a healthy, prosperous and a HAPPY NEW YEAR.

New year at the races

Thanks Nicky and Paul for making the last four days so enjoyable. :thumb:

A great meet really well organised and enjoyable. The race day was fabulous, so nice to have the lovely warm room available for all the funsters to use throughout the day, it made all the difference. :thumb:

Last night was so much fun lovely atmosphere great food and wonderful music provided by the funster band. :thumb:

Our best wishes for a happy and healthy New Year :Smile:

Good job you didn't choose Exeter races for the get together. The meet was abandoned today because the course was waterlogged. :Sad:

It was their biggest meeting of the year. Or would have been.

I would also like to thank Paul and everyone else for their kind assistance and help with the various problems we encountered: especially Paul for taking me to somewhere about 20 minutes away to buy and then fit a new regulator.
We came her virgins and left with a better understanding and look forward to going somewhere where it is dryer!!

The band was superb, so many thanks to the Motorhome Minstrels. :Smile:

The karaoke was of 'variable' quality, :Wink: but everyone enjoyed its so that was fine. :Smile:

The company was just great.... many thanks to all Funsters attending. :BigGrin:

The dogs were all lovely, and I don't think their respective owners noticed the tit-bits arriving from the buffet table.:Eek!:

Haggers, if you are organising next year, please do a better job with the weather order! :Rofl1:

So the next trip will seriously need to be calm seas? (else its just me:Eeek:)
