New windscrren

…..or we’re being ripped-off, paying what we do…….??😡
If you can find out where your A class screens are made and who by, you could go direct and buy several for selling on.
(You may have to physically drive there and pick them up)

There was a chap a couple of summers ago with an A class Hymer in Spain with a broken screen.
It was substantially cheaper for him to drive from Spain to Germany, and buy the screen direct and have it fitted there,
than it was to get it shipped to Spain or the UK and then fitted.

That's an insanely low price just for the screen!
It's possible they have loaded the fabrication cost and cut the supply cost to reduce the export and import costs.

Used to be (and maybe still is) common practice with high end 'one off' parts made for computers, satellites and other electrical communications bits.

if your luck is anythinkg like mine you only need 1 spare of anything to guarantee you will never it but dont have a spare and it will fall out when you go over the first little pebble
I have thought about buying a second identical van
So I have spare of everything. Towing could be an issue 🤔

These guys on the North East seem to run a professional operation (have a look at the website )which I believe are happy to quote for the likes of A class windscreens.
Certainly would be worth a phone call.

It doesn’t specifically mention A class windscreens do you know someone who’s had one fitted?
Handy to know if they do as they’re north east based.

No not an A class it was a classic car and it was on a programme on tv last year sometime.
The guy on the production line in the factory said they could produce screens for almost any vehicle.
Apologies if this is seems a bit short on info but I remember being well impressed with there production facility from start until the finished product .Seem to remember it was Porsche screen.
