Good morning everyone. We have just been converted from caravanning to motorhoming. I didn’t tow, and my husband was finding it more tiring than when we were younger. I’ve promised to have a go at driving. Also the setting up and putting away was getting hard work, although we did take a lot of “stuff” (for want of a better word!) which I discovered having emptied all said “stuff” from the caravan we have just sold!
I look forward to receiving some good advice from other members. I have a question about awnings which I’ll post on the forum.
All the best, Lorraine.

Hi and welcome. I changed from a motorhome to a caravan, we are on our first French/ Spanish trip, and you are correct that a caravan is much more work than a motorhome. So you have made a good decision. I'm sure you will have many happy trips on your new vehicle. Ask any questions and there's always someone here who will help.

Awnings? Time to break away from all that hard work and try a Quest Screen House that a lot of Funsters find easier and Far quicker (and less arguments) :giggle:

Hi and welcome :giggle: (y)
I never bothered with awnings but if I brought the dogs with me I'd bring a pop up Gazebo for them to sleep in during the night (VERY big dogs) but they were grand in the MH while I was driving.
