Away for the weekend in our new motorhome but can’t get the cooker or heating working. Hooked up to the electric point on site, gas valve open but no gas coming through.
Any advice welcome

As well as the gas valve on the bottles there are normally ones on the line somewhere.
There can also be a button on the gas regulator.
Is there any gas in the bottles?

Sometimes there is a shut off valve under the cooker controls? Is there a crash safe button? Hope you get it sorted❤️

Has it worked since you took possession?

There will probably be a bank of taps somewhere like in the garage or wardrobe where you can cut off the various appliances.

It's a process of elimination.
Really you need a flowchart!

Is there gas coming out of the gas hob ?

Did you actually SEE it working at the dealers during the hand over ?
(If not, then they have given you empty gas containers. You would not be the first to get scammed this way)

Are the gas containers full ?
(Is the weight right? can you hear gas sloshing around? Is there a gas gauge ?)
Is the gas turned on at the top of the bottle ?

Is the gas turned on in the gas locker where the 'pigtail' pipe goes into the gas lines ?
(There is often a crash sensor here, which can be triggered by potholes. You may need to 'prime' the system here by pressing a green button a few times)

Somewhere inside, probably between the cooker and the fridge, there will be several (three?) gas taps, one for the fridge, one for the cooker, one for the boiler.
Are they 'on' (If in doubt, play with the hob one)
(These may be in the back of a cupboard, or somewhere semi inaccessible)

Can you follow the gas line from hob to bottle ?
Are there any other taps or crash sensors?

Does the bloke next look like he has been camping since he was a young lad ?
Go and have a word!

Could be as simple as the crash sensor has activated due our shocking roads, maybe a green button to press to reset its inline with the regulator. Ours trips almost every journey!!
