New to lithium.

That would be your dodgy Spanish GLP gas installation🤪
Es broma.
Y lo sabes 😂

The panel gives percentage and volt readings, is that still not good enough?

Sometimes it get complicated on here… so to simplify it, your panel will probably give you 100% and 12.7v the whole time until your lithium gets to around 10% depleted then it will die until you charge it again.

But the nearly complicated bit is putting the charge back in which you already have…. Fitting a stunt with Bluetooth will tell you how much power you have in your battery…. Simples..☺️

I was going to say that but he said it much better 😉

I'll remember this when you get around to fitting your Lithium...they can be life changing....an obsession for some....a constant new found interest, not just a battery....it's an addition to the family, something to cherish and talk to....via electrical gadgets you have to buy of course...the best development in motorhoming since the Chemical loo...🤔😆😆🇪🇦

Delivery could have been an issue...🇪🇦🤔
Exactly, I was very interested in buying a Fogstar or a Roamer, (even someone here kindly offered to bring it to me as he was going towards here), but I had second thoughts as, unfortunately, it was just not practical in terms of warranty by malfunction or any other potential issue. So I bought from the dealer in Barcelona and they did the installation, as they had some warranty jobs to do in our van.

I had researched most of the different economy makes, and albeit this was not my first choice, it was the only one that would ship to the Canaries, so after reading more favourable reviews, went with it - €559 delivered.
Before I bought my battery , which at the moment hasn't got anywhere near the van as I realised that fully charged I could charge it from a second set of solar panels on the house & use it to put in additional charge to the power bank on the house. stupidly I then mentioned this to the wife:rolleyes:
I researched loads of batteries , perusing what everyone was using on you tube. The Li Time are well thought of on american forums as are Cycclevolt & some others.I eventually settled on an ecoworthy mainly as I watch a spanish you tuber who dismantles & tests them & this one has a metal cage inside the battery box to stop the batteries from expanding, did well in all his tests & he thought highly of it

I understand that I can connect a shunt
I have a 300A one on mine at the moment .

I've got 2 Roamer batteries in our van...delivered to Murcia...the second one arrived with cosmetic damage to the casing....I rejected it, but Roamer had nothing in place for returning it...so I decided to keep it.....after they refunded half of the cost of the battery and also offered to maintain the 10 year guarantee.... couldn't fault this.....

I just love that orange and black aesthetic 😍

Excellent, thanks. I'll start looking at shunts. Any suggestions as a starter?

You should have bought the 300Ah of LiTime batteries that I'm selling - would have been much cheaper :D

(I really need to take some pics and post an advert so that people know they're for sale...)
But do you ship to the Canaries? 😀

I’ll be getting the eco-worthy 280a Bluetooth, hopefully that will give me enough info for my needs without getting a stunt…🤔

That was my original choice but again, no shipping to the Canary Islands, so I had to discard it.
