Standard Reich microswitch type tap, lots on ebay. But I think the you need to get underneath and measure the diameter of the fitting that goes through the hole in the worktop. They seem to do two diameters.

Shouldn't be difficult once you have diameter.
On mine you have to remove the cutlery drawer
What is the problem with the existing one ?

It's leaking not ridiculously from directly underneath the tap. We checked tap spout but not coming from there. We've checked the pipe plumbing by putting water into sinks and plumbing dry. It only leaks when tap is turned on so assuming it's coming from tap.

Seems to leak from the black seal. The water drips onto the wires onto floor

As well as the Reich range, check out the Comet range to identify your own tap. In my experience, the fitting hole is either 27mm or 33mm - you need to sure before ordering. It looks like it swivels, to be able to serve either sink - another point to be aware of when identifying a replacement. Also, be aware that the barbed tails can be either 10mm or 12mm.
I would loosen the plastic? retain nut under the worktop, disconnect the microswitch wires below the worktop, heat the tails a little with a hairdryer so they slip off easily and then take off the tap. Then you should be able to identify the tap better with it removed and to measure the worktop cut out (27mm, 33mm etc) and identify the tails fitting. Others, with non-microswitched taps and diaphragm water pumps, have replaced their plastic taps with domestic brass types and traded the extra weight for better reliability.

As Stealaway says try cartridge first only about £5 , domestic one fits.

I replaced our kitchen tap (2001 B584, do the same) with something like this which is better quality being all brass.

But looking at your photo , could it be leaking from here because it looks like you can see the o ring on the spigot, this is held in by a pin between the 2 spigots

Exactly what I was going to say.

If water leak beneath tap it’s most likely pipes going into fitting. Leak above most likely cartridge in my experience.

A bit late to join the party but just noticed the post.
The Van is a Hymer 2002 B574.
I have a leaking tap and have attempted an Araldite repair before spending the money, result yet unknown.
The hole diameter is 27mm. the same tap is fitted to both sinks.
The leak is a small crack the body just below where the spout is inserted.
Getting the tap out was very difficult, getting the pipes off was the problem. I softened them up with a little hot air and eventually pulled them off, after the jubilee clips were released! I'll soak them in v hot water to push them back on.
As other have posted, the taps are available but I have noticed the prices vary substantially.

Hi.... another late comer:) thanks for the tips on how to remove the pipes etc. I was a bit vigorous removing the topos the tap (with the microswitch) as I suspect a cartridge leak. However the switch connectors came away before I could clock where they plug in (below sink LHS on Humer B544). If anyone is able to post a picture of correct place to plug these in I'd be very grateful! Thanks

If you zoom in and take a look at your photo, you'll see that all the spade connectors are horizontal......................except the two top left ones, which I assume became bent upwardly, when you pulled the tap away without disconnecting the wires. That would be my process of elimination, especially if the two wires from the tap are blue and black also. ;)

Good luck,

Jock. :)

Hi. Well, new tap fitted and wires put back onto those bent pins blue and black.... as nothing happened I then replaced the 5a fuse marked pump in the elektroblok and ...heh presto. tap works with seemingly more pressure than before (?). BUT pump is now on all the time. Tried reversing the wires but same effect. When I disconnect pump stops. So either I have the wrong kind of microswitch in the tap (is that a thing?) Or I've got the wires wrongly connected. It makes a lot of sense to re attach to the bent pins though. Thanks for any further thoughts....

Are you able to confirm that the two wires from the tap are blue and black, or brown and black?

Can you hear the microswitch operating off and on, in line with the movement of the flipper?

There is a metal strip on the microswitch which contacts the flipper. Movement up and down of the flipper, causes the metal strip to open and close the contacts inside the switch.

The last microswitch I bought had a longer than usual metal strip, so I had to remove the smaller strip from the duff switch, and attach it to the new switch, in order to make the contact with the flipper.

Cheers,

Jock. :)

Hi... thanks for getting back again. The wires from tap are brown and black.... when I plugged brown into brown the fuse blew...so I'm thinking they should go into those plugs that bent but the microswitch may be faulty .... so I'll try another tap and report back
