La Plagne in January , flying though. Then sadly that’s probably it as I am having a wrist fusion in Jan/Feb. Hopefully back to twice yearly next season.

So far just a week in St Gervais les bains with my son. Not been there before but it's easy to get to from Geneva airport, just an hour by bus, and I've rented an apartment right next to the main lift. Linked to Megeve so fingers crossed it'll be good.

We had a good covering 3wks back, but it only lasted a day or so at 1000m. Missed the chance to get the X skis out although some friends had a nice day on fresh tracks.

Hopefully picking up some ski-rollers this Christmas to be able to keep going no matter what the conditions.

Might do a couple of days in Champerey over the Christmas break, if there’s some snow…..

A work colleagues has gone today for a week in Cervinia, conditions sound good from what he was looking at.

Not the best weather but the snow cover looks reasonable up at Villars today

Hopefully a bit of cross country in Northern Germany over xmas but it is looking a bit light at the moment. Might have to head to the alps if there isnt a dump this week.

Seems the winter weather is arriving a little late this year. Just been working in northern Lapland early November - no snow, first time for many years; was hovering between +3 and -3. But looked today -25! French Alps last week - no snow then, but now getting some. The ski companies must be hoping for a lot of heavy stuff soon.

I hope to have a "greatest hits" trip:

Tunnel 20th Feb
Grubhof 25-28
Wolfergut Zell am See 1st March - 6
Oztal Solden 7-10
Aufenfiel Zillertal 11-17
Garmisch 18-19

I may well be on my own this season so if others are around maybe we could meet.
I'm an experienced skier - but only on piste these days. Like a drink but not into late night binging.

Got a light covering at 1000m last night, hopefully it will last and we’ll get some more during the week. Temps are good at least🥶

Livigno for me.....
Again...
Maybe a stop at Corvara Colfoso for a bit on the milky way..

But why change something that's been perfect for so many years...

Last year I got well in to cross country skiing and I think I'll be doing more this season...

Best of luck in your Operation, hope all goes well and a speedy recovery.

Flying out to St Anton in March. There was snow when we were there in motorhome in September. Not much now though.
Celebrating a friends 75th birthday so could get messy.
Unfortunately that will be it for this season.

Love St Anton..great place for a motorhome too

2025 is a big year for us, husband will be 70, I'll be 60 and we'll have been married for 25 years. To celebrate, we are off to the Canadian Rockies in March. Have started a 'get ski fit' regime recently :giggle:. Can't wait to be on the slopes again.
