Hi All

Has anyone experienced issues with a new refillable gas bottle not filling up to capacity on the initial fill.

The capacity is 21 litres, managed to get in 11.6 litres.

I am being advised to empty the bottle and try another fill, this will take some time to do.

For info the refillable bottle was changed as it was 10 years old

Many thanks

Think some of the older gasit bottles gad reports of the float sticking on first use but not heard reports recent.
What bottle did you get to replace the old one

Basildog heres the man that should be able to advise.

Are the bottles pressure tested with dry air before shipping, is it possible the bottle had pressure?

Did you hold the button down firm all the time, one near me is very easy to trip and its a bugger to get going again

I had Alugas Bottles fitted first fill 11lts Second fill 80% as it should be 👍
I have just replaced my old bottles for a new system GASBANK from the lpg shop there instructions are to only fill to 15/18 % on first fill.
