My daughter has just got a new puppy. He's a whippet/spaniel cross, and is lovely.

Yesterday he chose a random book from the bookcase, which he proceeded to destroy!

2 months ago we got these little rascals, Bear & Kiki.
Very hard work but at the same time very loving and will hopefully go on to be good dogs/ pets.

And talking of hearts (broken ones), I had the privilege of rescuing a whippet/staffy cross many years ago and she was the most intelligent, most kind, most loving creature I have had the good fortune to love and live with.

I would imagine that the combination of whippet and spaniel will be just as gorgeous (and possibly, as Ridgeway suggests, the fastest mud-magnet on the planet!)

Hedgewitch grandsons have a whippet staffy cross, rescue dog he is lovely and affectionate but very reactive to other dogs, fine in all other ways. Has to have a harness as his shoulders are so wide and his head so whippety tht he just slips out a collar
