New plip or fob remote keys

Not for my campervan but…..
Help from the collective would be great
My Peugeot partner tepee van key split into its component parts on turning it in the ignition yesterday and landed on the carpet! I know I can get a replacement case online for £6/£7 but that’s the third case I’ve had!!!!
Can you buy new keys complete online or is it a dealer job?

I can get those cut and programmed here in mini Scotland at the local key cutting place so you should be able to get done in real Scotland

aye but it’s shut at the weekend
I can still use the mechanical bit and tape the transponder to the steering column til Monday

Looks like it's the same key as a Berlingo. If it's come apart like that. On the silver button has it broken the little tab on the other side?

Just buy a new case, move the pcb over. If you open the blade 45 degrees you can push out the roll pin and remove the blade. Put in new case.

As previously said it’s the 3rd case and I don’t have a spare so I’m looking for a new fob and keep the old one as the spare ( in a new case!)

Got my van key copied at Timpsons £89,they need access to car and key to do it.
Dumfries one is next to Tesco so easy parking may have similar next to you.

You can get plastic (silicone?) covers for them - we have a chipped mazda key fob that's sat quite happily in a case for a decade.

Update
Had to order a new key fob from a mobile fitter he came cut the key and tried to reprogram the ecu for the new key and…..
No power to OBD socket!!!!!! No fuses blown and everything working ok!????
The fitter guy was great spent an hour checking everything but to no avail!
Fix it and I will program the key he said
