New battery died!

Older vans tend to have far less parasitic drain.

It’s great ( feeling smug for once, a rare benefit of motorhomeing on a budget). And built solidly too, with a nice 2.8l. But I don’t get to have all the shiney things

Sorry to sort of change subject but my 2016 Ducato van battery let me down this weekend and luckily I had just bought a Ring power pack which got me out of trouble. However i think a new battery is called for so what makes does anyone recommend. Also any tips for keeping 12v power on system whilst old battery is removed. I do have a Sealey power pack old type with 12v cigar type outlet so i assume i could connect this across the under bonnet jump start connections to maintain power to all the electronic gizmos etc during the changeover.
