All good here. Mikkis never was legal, but they seem to have more than 9 livesBreweryDave-how are you both? We think back fondly of the time at Alcantrilha. Is that right about Mikki's?
Freezing here in Yorkshire!
Oh well best of luck with your new place and home. Not sure when we'll get the chance to come back to Portugal. Keep safe. All good here. Mikkis never was legal, but they seem to have more than 9 lives
Moved on from Alcantarilha now, it had run its course and no improvements were being made, so we voted with our feet, now living at Alvor having bought a rather large 40’ static mobile home on the residential part of the site here
No travel at the moment stuck in blightyWhere are you travelling from?
Looking at the news Portugal’s Heath system is collapsing. I’d steer clear until things have returned to normal. No travel at the moment stuck in blighty
Any information on the above Aire ?Is the aire at St Bol de Messeans nr Andys place open yet?
Lazy copy of wot I posted a couple of days ago:Let’s hope so because before COVID you could never get onto a aire on the Algarve in the winter
I would also like more basic aires to open just a dump and water
Most of the aires have turned into campsites with kitchen tents etc they look like shanty towns
We toured Portugal 4 years ago and loved the Douro. If you search you can find my thread with pics and stop overs.Just found this. Looking at driving the Douro River early May. Has anyone any information of must see places and good stops along the route. Like Aires type stops.
Thanks
Carol
