Need help with low battery issue in Sunlight 601 panel van

Our last van had 2 x 100w flexible panels for 4 and a half years, and no problems when we sold it. :giggle:

This van has 2 x 100w flexible panels fitted March 2018 no problems, I think many seem to be unlucky or post without even had them. :Eeek:
We have a mppt regulator and two 85ah gel batteries that regularly get hammered charging two electric bike batteries and a remoska for a couple of hours along with other things on a inverter. Bob.

Initially you said 100watts of solar. As a rule of thumb you need a minimum of 100w per 100ah of batteries. AGM as a battery type does not work well for use as a leisure battery and you have done very well to squeeze 4 years out of them.

The main issue is not having a sufficient way to keep them charged whilst you use the van. The compressor fridge takes a lot of power to run properly
Sorry the solar is 100w

You certainly need more solar regardless of battery state, 100w isn't going to cut the mustard I'm afraid, speaking from experience from when we had 12v fridge, 2 x 85ah gels and 2 x 100w solar panels, in Spain we struggled over winter despite glorious sunny weather.
