NEC 2019

Well we had an enjoyable enough day, had a look at a £146K Swift but not overly tempted, not too crowded but the eating and drinking places seemed busy.

Travelworld/N+B were not there or Morelo, din't expect to see Concorde so a bit of a No Show Show, had a nice chat with Adam and Sophie from motorhome WiFi and bought some dehydrated mashed potatoe, Mrs funfair bought a couple of scarves that I am sure she doesn't need but that never stops her, I quite liked the look of the Kayacat sailing Kayak/Canoe thingy's but still need to pick up the latest Kayak I have bought but not seen yet so I should give it a miss.

The Giga wind turbine battery charger things looked quite interesting but of course need wind, I know there is always plenty of "hot air" at a Fun rally and even "wind" but not always the type that would charge a battery.

What did you think to that swift Martin?? We had a look in it a few weeks ago in brownhills, I was quite impressed for a swift. I believe dethleffs do the same sort of thing on the same chassis with the new Alpa.

Went yesterday with friends, not a lot about really to buy, whilst they were looking at a caxxxxn!!!!! we went to look at the motorhomes mistake fell in love with Swift Kon Tiki 650 and it was only £96k!!!!! Big discussions on the way home but resisting the temptation for now:):D
Go on - you know you want to(y)!!

Well certainly full spec with jacks, generator, gas tank, air suspension etc etc. I don't like coachbuilts so possibly not qualified to comment, the lounge seemed a bit cramped with the table in the way, garage is half decent, I think I could find a better way to spend close on £150k though.

Oh and right hand drive as well.

For some unknown reason Knaus and Weinsberg had a really big stand that was all caravans with not a motorhome or pvc to be seen. Anyone wanting to see the new Knaus motorhome based on the MAN chassis would be sorely disappointed.
Ah....but did they have the WOMAN chassis?
.......:imoutahere:
