National Motorhome & Caravan Show Birmingham NEC 18-23 October 2022 - Tickets, Tips, Where To Stay & Who's Going?

Why? Your stay at the temp site doesn't show up on your cmcc account.
You have to login to caravanclub anytime, Stupid.
Took me ages to find that out this morning.
I find their site a pain to navigate around for anything but the simplest enquiries.

Saturday tickets have now sold out! Please note that all tickets are online only with no tickets sold at the NEC.
Toyah Wilcox has been added to the line up of speakers for Thursday morning https://mcshow.co.uk/theatre/
& Andrew Ditton has quite a few talks scheduled so some of those are on our list.

(y) Here's the thread https://www.motorhomefun.co.uk/foru...r-2022-includes-the-sold-out-saturday.271875/ for the competition.

If anyone is looking for a good standard of hotel accommodation at the NEC for the MC Show then still a few rooms left on the deal that we have - send us a PM (or post here) if you would like the details.

We're hoping to go Saturday and Sunday but I dropped a clanger and booked hotel for Saturday night before buying tickets.
Can't get a couple of tickets for Saturday at the minute but I'll keep trying.
Staying at voco St Johns IHG Hotel in Solihull.

We're going, last minute decision now we've resolved what to do with Ralf.

We've booked a glamping pod at Overwater Marina, Nantwich, daughter going to have Ralf for a day. MHOME has not yet been fixed due to us both having Covid, so this was next best thing. Hopefully going on the Thursday.

We hope by end of the day we can decide whether to downsize or not. I want to look at the Burstner VanT, think that's the MODEL.

Not been to the Nec before but I've seen the traffic trying to get in when I've driven along M42.
We're thinking of parking car at a nearby train station and catching train to Birmingham International station.
How far of a walk is it to the exhibition hall?

Hi Tom, there is a monorail from the station straight to the NEC.

Can you add the details of the hotel deal please, thanks

No, but still not feeling 100%, seems to be the case with a few people I've talked to. Thanks

Hi. If anyone hears of any available tickets for the MH show I would love to be able to go. Unfortunately I can’t attend in the week as working. Thank you

Any recommendations for a stopover close by after? We heading South to the Cotswolds after but would prefer not to travel far after walking around the show all day.

Congratulations to Holly's mum who won the two tickets in the draw (y)

Thank you to everyone who took part & don't forget to buy your tickets online by midnight tomorrow as the price goes up after that from £12 to £15 each (plus £1.25 transaction fee) & all tickets sold for this Show are online only.

I'm looking for 2 Saturday tickets please, if anyone can help! Thanks

We are here at the Show & great to catch up with the contacts who have given discount codes for Fun previously & find out what's new! Will post most next week as trying to make the most of our time whilst here & working in between. Hope to meet up with some fellow Funsters too :hi5:

Don't forget Toyah is nipping in on Thursday morning, she will be giving a couple of pointers on what to view.

I imagine that she probably could.

Going on Saturday and Sunday and still undecided whether to park the car at a nearby train station and get the train in or risk the traffic going in. Any suggestions please?

We're setting off shortly, drop Ralf off with daughter in Nantwich then... away 😊👍😊. Looking forward to it, first time since 2018. We made decision then to buy, so what will today bring 🤔🤔🤔 Cheers

We are about to set off for the NEC in half an hour.
The thunder and lightning have been rumbling around here for the past last half an hour or so and the rain has just started lashing down. :(

We had an hour delay due to volume of traffic & others reporting the same but trains packed too! The weekend will be busier again as sold out. Whatever method best to get here early as NEC & parking open before Show.
