Yes a 2002 GL1800, one of the first ones to hit these shores.
Best to go and try one, they’re an absolute hoot. The R model will be better than standard as it has adjustable suspension and slightly more power.Yes I’ve been looking at the 690r for a little while now thinking do I need one lol I don’t get time to use what I have
I don’t need any encouragement but yes the R would be my choiceBest to go and try one, they’re an absolute hoot. The R model will be better than standard as it has adjustable suspension and slightly more power.
I would have bought the R if it had been for me but the 690 is my wife’s bike, I have had to lower it for her.I don’t need any encouragement but yes the R would be my choice
I'm impressed by everyones collection of bikes. I didn't actually realise that within the camper van / motorhome community so many people ride.
Good job folks.
This is my new bike, had hoped to have been trailering it through Europe by now but worse things have happened to other so shouldn't grumble.
We have a similar van to yours rnb100 , a Knaus Boxdrive which is 6.8 metres. We had some very tight moments on the back roads and in the villages of Portugal last year because of the length so small bit apprehensive about when we start to trailer - especially as the co-driver is not totally in favour of the idea but prepared to tolerate it. And someone told me tolerance is what gets tested under stress View attachment 473668
I'm very tempted to buy a Breva, I'm happy enough with secondhand and they re really good value. Just seems a bit nuts with a Griso in the garage as well ( although wife hates the Griso)Well when I met my current wife had 9 bikes, now down to three and a maxi scooter, her favourite. Some from the past,Guzzi my current favourite, still getting to know the Kawasakivulcan650s,1150 GS most miles covered and loved it.View attachment 473882View attachment 473883View attachment 473884View attachment 473885View attachment 473886View attachment 473887View attachment 473889
Hmmm tempting ☺Haha,I have had two Breva’s.Regretted selling the first as soon as it was gone.
Found this one which doesn’t have a mark on it 2010, purchased in the UK,less than 9,000 miles on a 2010.Cobra seat cover which is very comfy.Crash bars, two screens, new Avon tyres.
It handles like on rails, excellent Brembo brakes,to me what point in buying aV7 as it’s virtually the same bike.
Sadly my wife needs a new hip and can’t climb aboard anymore so she will sadly have to go,not the wife the Breva!!
Go for it,loads of fun for the buck.
Proper Soft detachable Guzzi expandable panniers.
Pop over to PT and ride it back after lockdown, would be a nice break .
Nice bikes but you can only ride one at a time....at least that's what my wife tells meWhen i got to 70 i offloaded a couple. Today i only have the Wing, however i WILL be getting a 2nd bike soon.
