My phone won't connect to my laptop

Are you trying to transfer photos from your phone to your laptop or upload them to the site directly?

If the former, are you connecting phone by usb cable to the laptop? If so, is it definitely a data version cable not just charging version?

What phone and what operating system on your laptop?

Email or WhatsApp the photos to yourself then store wherever you want them.

Galaxy S22 phone connecting to Microsoft, I have done this hundreds of times but for some reason my laptop doesn't recognise the phone. I have tried six different cables now.

I get the phone to upload then straightway to Google Photos. Open a new Chrome window and ensure logged into Google then take the square of 9 dots beside your avatar top right and they are there. You can then move them anywhere. Not sure it will work with Apple gear. '

Try to swipe down once connected and choose usb connection then select to enable file transfer

Had similar just the other day and that sorted the issue.

If the phone does not appear in My Computer, first thing to try is a complete reboot (restart) of both devices.
If after that it's still not working, if you insert a known USB drive, does that appear in My Computer? If yes, concentrate on the phone, is USB turn on. Are you in Developer mode etc. If No. download This diagnostic tool from Microsoft which should sort out any issues on the laptop.

Yes, now I can't even find how to add devices on my laptop!!!

I suspect I will get flamed but Apple eco system here no MS gave that up years ago.

Apple just works ! no mess no fuss…

Ok, I have paired my phone with the laptop but still nothing. I am assuming it is something to do with the phone now.
