My Garmin 895 used to…..

Give me a choice of 2 different routes, pink and blue, to choose from, after an update last week it now only gives me the one without motorways

I’ve checked all the settings I’m aware off, obviously chose motorways, toll routes and quickest way rather than shortest but it’s got me stumped and I’m heading home from El Pinet on Tuesday, the route up to Valencia it’s giving me are all non motorway roads

So has anyone any ideas what I’m supposed to or can do

Well I’ve found the device reset, done a full master reset and it’s exactly the same so now I’m stumped

You usually choose which type of roads to avoid with Garmin and not ones to use. I have a Garmin Dezl LGV 800. Are you sure you havent selected "Avoid" by mistake? Always select the Fastest Route too. If you have done all these checks then i am stumped too!

I’ve checked everything I can think of Mark and even unchecked all the avoid options and checked the fastest route

I really am stumped now tbh

Have you definitely checked / "corrected" all of the following in your vehicle profile for motorhome?

• Avoiding Toll Roads
• Avoiding Toll Stickers
• Avoiding Road Features
• Avoiding Environmental Zones
• Custom Avoidances

Also, you don't happen to have a setting for "propane tanks" and this is perhaps "blocking" motorways? Some units have this but others don't. I think it's country specific and not sure it would impact though.

I understand that’s not for Satnavs, I downloaded it and couldn’t see anywhere to find satnavs to pair with

I’ve checked everything, all I can see i’ve done and checked over and over again

I cannot see a European map and when I go to updates all it’s finding is North Africa and Middle East

I’ve travelled 3.5 hrs today and had to use my phone and google maps as it wouldn’t find any route at all

Probably clutching at straws but are you using sat nav built in wifi to update the map files? If so, are you using a vpn that is linking to a North African server?

Again, if using wifi have you tried connecting unit to a computer and updating via Express?

I’ve only got with me my iPhone and iPad so having to use inbuilt WiFi via my Netgear M1 wireless router

No vpn at all
