My aire galleries

Many thanks. For someone not yet experienced an Aire its great to see and have an idea of what to expect also the pics of the signs and service points are helpful.

I now have a good idea of what to expect from September onwards.

I've still got Cahors to add and this place is awesome! might have some others when I have a sort out.
Meanwhile I'm off over on Friday and we've decided to stay on the North coast this time as travelling huge distance is folly when you only have a week.
So I'm looking for ones I've not been to as well as our favourites.
Fort Mahon, Deauville, Fecamp are possibilities for new to us. Any suggestions?

Looks like I'm winging it again

Great pics again. What did you think of the aire at Fort Mahon Plage?

Spacious no frills but all the basics. Nice nature trail through the Dunes, we saw deer and cuckoos etc. €9 is overpriced but doesn't break the bank. We have no need for electric so not a consideration. We were not blessed with the best of weather and anywhere is nice if the Sun comes out.

The service point is part of the price so anyone passing could use it free if not stopping

Tutorial for 'Aires'

Hi all,

you may have realised by now that we are about to embark on our first MH journey (in France).
We have never undertaken such a journey before and will be massively grateful for any info (looked at youtube le shuttle video today), AMNYTHING, no info is too small. Am quite scared as to how un hygienic the aires seem to be ??????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:helpsos:

I'd like to make a BIG THANK YOU to cmcardle75
I thought I was on a roll with more than a dozen likes in as many minutes :thumb:
Makes it all worthwhile

Don't forget, for every one liking the pictures, there are another hundred appreciating them. They're going to provide a lot of confidence for people who have heard of aires, but don't know what they look like or how scary or not the waste/water facilities are. Some pretty fantastic locations, too!

It's good for the digestion. or you can use bottled water to drink! I'm pleased at how easy the facilities look for an RV. We don't have toilet cassettes, but need to pump out. Most of them look like you don't even need the pump. Just drive up and open the valves!
